A Heroic Journey
Eventually, I found I had been living within a box of beliefs that all pointed towards it being of value to live a heroic journey.
Based on what my predecessors instilled in me as to what heroism was,
I eagerly went forth into my life,
determined to become a hero. (of something!)
Little did I know of what an authentic hero is.
Tired and worn out I surrendered over and over
eventually giving up the pidder-padder-up-the-ladder of life.
Inspiration felt to come from "above"
Yet the outstretched highway of life appeared to be built
on an foundation of a linear schism of "successes".
Struggle, challenge, achievement, determination, motivation, striving, always pushing toward some illusive "goal"…
Until I made a decsion...
to just continue to ALLOW the already
inherent, natural, Go(o)d, of my beingness
to simply SHINE.
Unabashed.
UN BASHED.
UN ABUSED
UN BIASED
UN CLOTHED
UN TIED
