AMPM24-7 Productions is...
both AnnMarie and Michael Parson-McNamara (AMPM) all day (24 hrs) everyday (7 days a week) as individuals and as a co-creative team. Since 2005 we have been exploring together our desires to create, visual, vocal, musical and lyrical expressions of what we love and enjoy about our journey, our lives and the world we live in. We are currently located in Northern Lower Michigan.
Michael spent over 40 years as a guitar teacher, musician & session musician, performing regularly all over the country and running his own in-house recording studio. AnnMarie spent over 30 years as a photographer & graphic artist as well as teaching and performing in various arts.
Michael wanted to add visual arts to his creative expression and I (AnnMarie), wanted to sing to the music & lyrics I compose in my head, together we're enjoying blending our talents & finding fun and satisfaction in areas of fresh expression.
This site represents the changing menu of what we offer. While we spent a year in Washington state we took a series of television production classes that sparked an interest in producing films, using our music and photography as well as our ideas about life. I have been creating short videos and slideshows and putting them on our site and our UTube site as I explore more about this avenue.
We recently started a line of cards which can be found on our My Blue Jammies pages, using our beautiul photographic images as well as pictures of our paintings and other art.... and
Michael has also finished his first instrumental CD; First Snow, which he produced in our studio, early this year. First Snow is available for purchase here, on our Our Music page.
We also perform together, as a duo, locally.This summer (2010) we can be found in Honor, Mi. every Tuesday from 8am to 2pm in the pavillion at Maley Park, where we MC and play during the local Farmers Market, we also are part of Homegrown Saturdays in Manistee, Mi. where we play on River St. every Saturday from 9-11am or 11-1pm.
